This may not be new but, after upgrading compiz from git today, I noticed that certain windows (gnome-system-monitor and the AWN manager) were semi-transparent. See the screenshot:
Edit: As far as I can tell, the Murrine engine, not compiz, is not causing the transparency.

How could you not post anything about the Firefox 3 launch today (or not)? Shame on you, steven allen, shame on you.

Please don't use my blog to attract visitors to your blog (please don't link to your blog unless your post is in anyway relevant or informative). I did not post about the new (thankfully faster) Firefox release because I am in Canada (and without constant internet access) and 99.9999999% of those who will be reading this blog already know about Firefox 3's release and many have probably been using the RCs and the betas.
